{"id":614,"date":"2023-10-18T12:13:21","date_gmt":"2023-10-18T12:13:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/savigny-legal.eu\/?post_type=personne&#038;p=614"},"modified":"2024-11-29T19:53:13","modified_gmt":"2024-11-29T19:53:13","slug":"rana-chaaban","status":"publish","type":"personne","link":"https:\/\/savigny-legal.eu\/en\/personne\/rana-chaaban\/","title":{"rendered":"RANA CHAABAN"},"content":{"rendered":"<strong>Rana CHAABAN<\/strong> (1975) is admitted to the Paris Bar as well as the Beirut Bar.\r\n\r\nShe is<strong> a Senior Lecturer<\/strong> at the Maine University Rana CHAABAN has<strong> a PhD in Private Law (Paris II \u2013 <\/strong><strong>Panth\u00e9on-ASSAS<\/strong><strong> University)<\/strong> and holds a Masters in <strong>Private General Law<\/strong> (<strong>Paris II \u2013 <\/strong><strong>Panth\u00e9on-ASSAS<\/strong><strong> University<\/strong>) and a Law Degree in Private Law.\r\n\r\nShe <strong>teaches Insurance Law, Corporate Law<\/strong>, and<strong> International Arbitration<\/strong> at the<strong> Maine University<\/strong>, as well as <strong>Labour Law<\/strong> and <strong>European Business Law<\/strong> at the <strong>Sorbonne University<\/strong>.\r\n\r\nShe has published many books and articles concerning Contracts Law and International Arbitration. She is also the author of a well-known book, \u201cThe Caducity of Contracts\u201d that has won many awards in Beirut and France (<em>Prix de l\u2019Acad\u00e9mie des sciences morales et politiques<\/em>). She regularly publishes articles relevant to Arbitration in Arab countries such as Qatar and Dubai. Rana CHAABAN is trilingual (Arabic, French and English), and is fluent in Spanish.\r\n\r\nRana CHAABAN\u2019s act as a legal counsel and a litigator.
